We are engaged in manufacturing of TMT Bars from iron billets manufactured through our reheating furnace and rolling mill. We have a retail licence agreement with Kamdhenu Limited which allows us to market our TMT Bars exclusively in Gujarat (except Kutch and Saurashtra) under the brand “Kamdhenu NXT”. We also sell iron billets, mill scale and binding wire incidental to our TMT Bars business.
Our Services
TMT Bars
TMT Bars are a new generation-high strength steel having superior properties such as weld ability, strength, ductility and tensile strength. They are fire resistant and can withstand temperature up to 600 degrees Celsius and can retain significant strength even at higher temperatures. They are corrosion resistant and useful for humid climate. Due to their soft ferrite - pearlite core, they can withstand significant loads. One of the special features of these bars is the ability to withstand bending without losing strength. Their malleability and bonding strength are high and thus, being cost effective, they are widely used and preferred. TMT Bars are increasingly favoured by the construction industry. (Dun & Bradstreet Report,2024). TMT Bars are known for their exceptional strength, durability and ability to withstand seismic activities, making them indispensable in modern construction. (Dun & Bradstreet Report, 2024).
Billets
A billet is a length of iron metal that has a round or square cross-section, with an area of less than 36 in 2 (230 cm2). We currently buy billets to produce our TMT Bars; however, to enhance the backward integration of our production and increase raw material security, we have initiated a project to manufacture billets from scrap. The production of billets will be for our own captive consumption to manufacture TMT Bars. We currently sell billets in the market when we have an excess inventory of the billets.
Pipe
In Fiscal 2025, we are diversifying our production to include pipe manufacturing from stainless steel sheets. We intend to produce pipe from 0.5” to 3” with a thickness of 1 mm to 2 mm.
Binding wires
Binding wires are made of galvanized, plastic annealed, and stainless steel wire. Binding wires have softness, good ductility, and high strength, and are easily bent and tied in a knot. Binding wire with heat treatment will have high strength and become softer. We currently sell binding wire incidental to our TMT Bar sales. We purchase binding wire as stock-in-trade.
Our Quality Standards
Across our manufacturing, we have established a quality management system that cover all areas of our business processes from manufacturing, supply chain to product delivery to ensure consistent quality, efficacy and safety of products.
We have a laboratory to ensure our TMT Bars adhere to customer quality requirements. Our products go through various quality checks at various stages including random sampling check and quality check internally. We are subject to strict quality requirement and regular quality inspections by Kamdhenu Limited, our brand licensor. Our products must also meet the standards set by the Bureau of Indian Standards (“BIS”). Any failure of our products to meet prescribed quality standards may result in rejection and reworking of our products by customers.
Our Company maintains number of quality management system certificates in line with industry standards, including ISO 9001:2015 for quality management standards, ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety management system standards and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management system standards.
